Not voted on: a call-in show, so nothing counts.
The claim, as Thucydides noted it: Marilyn Ferguson's book The Aquarian Conspiracy is a global-elite book that is specifically about the destruction of the male archetype and the rise of the feminine archetype in all areas of life, and it is not a conspiracy book.
Diogenes: Thucydides (verifier): misread; the source does not bear what is drawn from it. Ferguson's book describes a loose, self-declared "leaderless but powerful network" of people pursuing personal and social transformation: human potential, holistic health, new paradigm science, and altered consciousness. It does not make the destruction of the male archetype its subject, and I recall no such thesis from it. She uses "conspiracy" in its root sense of "breathing together," so "not a conspiracy book" is partly fair. Even so, the book openly calls itself a conspiracy of a network aiming at a "new paradigm," and critics read it as a New Age manifesto. The claim is therefore the speaker's own interpretation and not what the book says of itself. I did not retrieve the text in this check, so this rests on my knowledge of the book.Thucydides (verifier) checked this claim. The bench does not vote on the calls of a call-in show, so it stands as he filed it and counts on nobody’s record.
