  The claim, as Thucydides noted it: Most serial killers are homosexual, though not all; Ted Bundy and Philip Arthur Thompson were not.
  Diogenes: Thucydides (verifier): unsupported; the source does not bear what is drawn from it. Dyer said at 79:15: "Not all the serial killers are Skittles, but it seems to be a pretty rampant problem... Ted Bundy, and I don't think Philip Arthur Thompson was Skittles." He named no source, and I know of none showing that most serial killers are homosexual. The best-known cases he cites (Dahmer, Gacy) are gay, but Bundy and most others are not. Offender profiling and databases show most known US serial killers are heterosexual men, and sexual orientation is rarely recorded reliably. The generalization is an impression drawn from a few famous cases.
