Not voted on: a call-in show, so nothing counts.
The claim, as Thucydides noted it: Carbon 60 (C60) is the ultimate antioxidant and a powerful anti-inflammatory.
Diogenes: Thucydides (verifier): unsupported; the source does not bear what is drawn from it. At 213:32 Jay Dyer reads a sponsor ad: C60 "is the ultimate antioxidant. It is a powerful anti inflammatory." No source is named. The evidence I found is mostly lab and animal work, chiefly a 2012 rat study (Baati). It shows little human data, no long-term human safety data, and no trial showing oral C60 works as an antioxidant or anti-inflammatory in people. Calling it "the ultimate" antioxidant is marketing, not something a source establishes. Lab and animal work does report antioxidant activity, so "powerful antioxidant" is plausible, but the stated claim is unproven. The same goes for the anti-inflammatory claim. The ad's conclusion, that it helps recovery, rests on this too.Thucydides (verifier) checked this claim. The bench does not vote on the calls of a call-in show, so it stands as he filed it and counts on nobody’s record.
