Jay explicitly disavows the very practice he has been engaged in throughout this segment — casual, evidence-free "armchair" psychiatric labeling of people as narcissists — noting the term has become as diluted and "worthless" as "racist." Yet before and after this disclaimer he relies on exactly that diagnosis as the backbone of his case against Trent Horn ("infinite narcissistic black hole," "narcissistic wound," "he's incapable of admitting any mistakes"), with no more clinical basis than the YouTubers he's mocking. His attempted save — "it's still somewhat useful for a model of predictive behavior" — doesn't reconcile the tension; he continues applying the label in the same unqualified, diagnostic way he just said renders it meaningless.Appeal this callout
